Tungnath

Tungnath is a highest Lord Shiva Temple among Panch Kedars situated in Rudraprayag district of Garhwal region in Uttarakhand, India. Lies at an altitude of 3,680m. The temple is part of the Panch Kedars of Uttarakhand, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Tungnath offers both sprituality to adventure, it is popular trekking site in Uttarakhand, acessable by 3-5 km trek from Chopta. There are many nearby destinations to visit such as Chandrashila summit (1 km), Chopta Valley, Deoriatal, etc.
