After weeks of rigorous academic schedules, project deadlines, and sleepless hostel nights, taking time off wasn’t easy. But the craving for a break – a real break – became too strong to ignore. Convincing professors, rescheduling lab work, and pooling budgets – all became part of the pre-trip hustle.

Day 1 – Delhi to Bhimtal | Scenic Drive & Warm Welcome

Early Morning Departure from Delhi
Breakfast Stop: Choto Lal Restaurant – perfect for quick bites and hot tea
Lunch Stop: Vaishno Dhaba – authentic North Indian food en route
Arrival at Bhimtal by late afternoon
Welcome drinks and check-in at our homestay
Evening walk to Bhimtal Lake
Dinner at Homestay – traditional local thali with a Kumaoni twist

Day 2 – Paragliding Adventure & Naukuchiatal Visit

Morning: Breakfast at the homestay with local items like Bhatt ki Churkani and Mandua roti
Paragliding Adventure: Fly like a bird over the emerald lakes and green valleys – a professional team ensures safe and exhilarating flights
Lunch: At a lakeside restaurant near Naukuchiatal (9-cornered lake)

Return to the homestay for evening relaxation

Day 3 – Kainchi Dham & Sattal Exploration

Early morning drive to Kainchi Dham – famous for the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba, visited by Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg
Spiritual Darshan & Meditation
Lunch: At a local veg restaurant near the temple
Visit Local Market: Pick up handmade crafts, organic jams, and woollens
Evening visit to Sattal – a cluster of seven lakes surrounded by pine forest
Return to homestay
Dinner: Home-style meal with Kumaoni Aloo ke Gutke and seasonal sabzi

Day 4 – Goodbye Bhimtal & Return to Delhi

Breakfast at the homestay – with a twist of local delicacies curated by Chef Prakash (don’t miss his special jhangora kheer)

Start return journey to Delhi by late morning
