10 Days Char Dham Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun to Barkot

Your Char Dham Yatra begins with pickup from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun. Drive through the beautiful Himalayan foothills and visit Kempty Falls en route before continuing to Barkot. Check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner and relax for the next day’s Yamunotri pilgrimage.

Night Stay: Barkot

Day 2 – Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Barkot

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti and begin the trek to Yamunotri Temple. Seek blessings of Maa Yamuna, visit the sacred Surya Kund, and return to Janki Chatti. Drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Barkot to Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi via the beautiful mountain route. En route enjoy scenic viewpoints including Radi Top and visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 4 – Uttarkashi – Gangotri Darshan – Uttarkashi

Drive to the sacred Gangotri Temple, the origin place of River Ganga according to Hindu beliefs. On the way enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Harsil Valley and, if time permits, visit Gartang Gali. Return to Uttarkashi by evening.

Day 5 – Uttarkashi to Sersi

Today drive towards Sersi via Guptkashi. Visit the ancient Guptkashi Vishwanath Temple before reaching your hotel. Rest well as the Kedarnath trek begins the next morning.

Day 6 – Sersi – Kedarnath Trek

Early morning drive to Sonprayag and continue to Gaurikund by local shuttle. Begin the trek to the sacred Kedarnath Temple. After reaching Kedarnath, check into your hotel and attend the beautiful evening aarti if time permits.

Day 7 – Kedarnath Darshan – Return to Sersi

Wake up early for darshan at Kedarnath Temple. After completing your visit, trek back to Gaurikund and return to Sersi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 – Sersi to Badrinath

Drive towards Badrinath. On the way visit the famous Narsingh Temple at Joshimath. Reach Badrinath, check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 9 – Badrinath Darshan – Mana Village – Pipalkoti

Attend the morning darshan at Badrinath Temple. Later visit Mana Village, India’s first village near the Indo-Tibet border. Continue your drive to Pipalkoti for an overnight stay.

Day 10 – Pipalkoti – Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun

After breakfast begin your return journey. En route witness the beautiful Panch Prayag river confluences and seek blessings at the famous Maa Dhari Devi Temple before reaching Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun.
