Auli – Uttarakhand’s Snow Destination with Himalayan Views
High in the Garhwal Himalayas, Auli is one of those places where every season creates a different experience. Winter turns its slopes into a snow-covered playground, summer opens green meadows with cool mountain air, and autumn brings crystal-clear views of some of India’s highest Himalayan peaks. Whether you are planning a skiing holiday, a family vacation, a honeymoon, or simply want a peaceful mountain escape, Auli offers a perfect balance of nature and adventure.
Located at an altitude of around 2,800–3,050 metres above sea level, Auli is famous for its ski slopes, ropeway, oak forests, and panoramic views of peaks like Nanda Devi, Kamet, Mana Parbat, Hathi Parvat, Dunagiri and Neelkanth. The destination remains beautiful throughout the year, making it one of Uttarakhand’s most visited hill stations.
