Char Dham Yatra Family Package from Haridwar
Char Dham Yatra Family Package from Haridwar: My Journey with Travelophila
Hello, I am Deepak from Madhya Pradesh. I want to share my amazing experience of the Char Dham Yatra Family Package from Haridwar, which I booked through Travelophila. This was my first trip to the Himalayas, and traveling with my family made it even more special.
How It All Started
I always wanted to do the Char Dham Yatra but wasn’t sure how to plan it. Finally, I started searching online for “Char Dham Yatra Family Package from Haridwar.” I found many companies but felt comfortable with Travelophila. Their team explained everything clearly, and they offered a great package at INR 13,500 per person. Families comparing routes, pacing, and accommodation standards across seasons can review Travelophila’s full range of Chardham tour plans before finalising dates.
When I told my colleague Rajesh about it, he was shocked. He had done the same yatra with another company for INR 22,000 per person but was unhappy with the experience. This made me even more confident about my choice. I paid INR 10,000 as an advance for my family of seven.
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot
Our trip started on October 13, 2024, at 4 AM, when Travelophila’s driver Naresh picked us up in a Bolero. We began our journey with a holy dip in the Ganga at Har Ki Pauri. It was such a peaceful experience.
From there, we headed towards Barkot, stopping at Kempty Falls in Mussoorie on the way. By evening, we reached our hotel in Barkot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a delicious Garhwali meal before resting for the night.

Day 2: Visit to Yamunotri
On October 14, we left early for Janki Chatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. It’s a 6-8 km trek, and though it was tiring, the darshan at Yamunotri Temple made it all worthwhile. After returning, we relaxed at the hotel.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi
The next day, we drove to Uttarkashi. After lunch, we visited the Vishwanath Temple, a very peaceful and divine place.

Day 4: Gangotri Darshan
On October 16, we headed to Gangotri. The drive through Harsil Valley was beautiful. We visited the Gangotri Temple, took blessings, and enjoyed the serene atmosphere. By evening, we returned to Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Towards Kedarnath
On October 17, we started our journey towards Kedarnath. On the way, we stopped at Ardhnareshwar Temple, and by evening, we reached Sersi, where we stayed overnight in Hotel Adiyogi near Himalayan Helipad Sersi.

Day 6 & 7: Kedarnath Temple
October 18 was the day I had been waiting for. We reached Sonprayag early in the morning and took a jeep to Gaurikund. From there, we started our trek to Kedarnath.
Seeing the temple for the first time was an emotional moment for me. After freshening up, we went for darshan in the evening and attended the aarti. The next morning, we visited Bhairav Temple, which offers a breathtaking view of the valley.

Day 8: Journey to Badrinath
On October 20, we started for Badrinath. On the way, we visited the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath and the beautiful Chopta Valley. By evening, we reached Badrinath and rested for the night.
Day 9: Badrinath Darshan and Mana Village
The next morning, we visited the Badrinath Temple at 4 AM. After darshan, we explored Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Tibet border. The natural beauty and peaceful vibe of this place were unforgettable.
Day 10: Back to Haridwar
On October 22, we drove back to Haridwar. Along the way, we visited Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag Sangam, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet.
My Thoughts
This trip was a dream come true. Everything, from the hotels to the transport, was well-organized by Travelophila. My family and I had a great time.
