Nainital Tour Package – A Family’s Travel Story

Our 3 Nights 4 Days Nainital Tour Package with Travelophila – A Birthday Trip Our Family Will Always Remember

By Prem Singh Talwar & Family

Sometimes the best family memories are not planned months in advance. They begin with one simple thought.

For our family, that thought came when we realized our daughter Salvi’s 13th birthday was approaching on 7th June. We had been discussing a short family vacation for quite some time, but work always came first. Being a businessman in Delhi, I rarely get enough time to travel with my family.

Nainital Lake

This year, I decided things would be different.

Instead of buying another birthday gift, I wanted to give my daughter something she would remember for years—a family holiday.

The first destinations that came to our minds were Manali, Mussoorie, and Nainital. Since we live in Noida, all three were convenient. But this birthday wasn’t only about celebrating. We also wanted to visit some peaceful temples and seek blessings together as a family.

A year earlier, our family had completed the Char Dham Yatra with Travelophila. The experience was smooth, and their local Uttarakhand team took great care of us. Because of that experience, we didn’t spend hours searching online again. We simply called the Travelophila team and shared what we wanted.

We asked for three things.

A peaceful private stay.

A birthday celebration for our daughter.

A family trip that included both sightseeing and temples.

Naina Devi Temple

Their team suggested a 3 Nights 4 Days Nainital Tour Package covering Bhimtal, Nainital, Kainchi Dham, Mukteshwar, and Golu Devta Temple.

Although the package cost around INR 14,000 per person, it included a private villa, an Ertiga vehicle, birthday arrangements, delicious meals, and a completely customized itinerary for our family of five.

For us, comfort was more important than choosing the cheapest package.

Our family included myself, my wife, our daughter Salvi, our four-year-old son Shekhar, and my elderly mother. We wanted everyone—from our little son to my mother—to enjoy the trip without any stress.

Day 1 – From Noida to Beautiful Bhimtal

Our journey started on 6th June.

At exactly 8:30 in the morning, our driver, Mr. Sunil, arrived outside our home.

From the very beginning, we noticed how polite and professional he was. During the journey he told us he belonged to Uttarakhand, and throughout the trip his local knowledge proved incredibly helpful. He knew the roads, suggested good places for tea, and shared interesting stories about the Kumaon region.

The drive from Noida was smooth.

As we entered the hills, everyone in the family became excited. Even our little son kept looking outside the window, counting mountains and asking questions every few minutes.

Around 3:20 PM, we reached Himnandi Homestay, a beautiful private villa located just a short walk from Bhimtal Lake.

Nanital Family Trip

The villa was exactly what we had hoped for.

It was spacious, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a family vacation. Surrounded by greenery, it felt less like a hotel and more like our own holiday home.

The caretaker, Mr. Prakash, welcomed us warmly and helped us settle in.

After freshening up, he served hot tea with fresh pakoras and mathri.

That simple evening snack after a long drive felt surprisingly special.

Later, we walked to Bhimtal Lake.

The peaceful atmosphere immediately made us realize why so many people choose a Nainital tour package instead of rushing through crowded destinations.

We enjoyed boating on the calm lake, visited the Butterfly Research Centre, clicked countless family photographs, and watched the evening light slowly disappear behind the hills.

By around 8:30 PM, we returned to the villa.

Dinner was freshly prepared.

Our meal included soft butter rotis, arhar dal, mix vegetables, matar paneer, jeera rice, fresh salad, and finally a bowl of warm sevai kheer.

After dinner we spent time talking on the balcony while enjoying the cool mountain breeze.

The trip had already started feeling worth it.

Day 2 – The Birthday We Will Never Forget

The second day was the most emotional day of our trip.

It was Salvi’s birthday.

After breakfast, we first visited Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple in Bhimtal before heading towards the peaceful Kainchi Dham Ashram.

The calm atmosphere of the ashram was unlike anywhere else.

We spent some quiet time there, prayed together, and felt grateful that we could celebrate our daughter’s birthday with blessings instead of just another party.

From there we continued towards Mukteshwar, enjoying beautiful mountain roads all along the way.

Our final temple stop was the famous Golu Devta Temple, where we offered our prayers for our children’s health and our family’s happiness.

By evening we returned to the villa.

What happened next completely surprised our daughter.

While we were away, the team had decorated the villa beautifully with balloons and birthday decorations. A private DJ setup had also been arranged just for our family.

The birthday cake arrived exactly as promised.

Watching Salvi cut the cake while our little son danced around the room and my mother smiled quietly in the corner is a memory I don’t think any of us will ever forget.

Dinner that evening felt like a celebration.

Food at Nainital Tour

We enjoyed paneer tikka, Manchurian, kadai paneer, dal makhani, mix veg kofta, jeera rice, pulao, boondi raita, fresh rotis, rasgullas, and kheer.

Every member of our family appreciated the effort that had gone into making the evening special.

That night we all agreed on one thing.

Sometimes paying a little extra for a well-planned Nainital family tour package is worth every rupee if it creates memories like these.

Day 3 – Exploring the Beauty of Nainital

After breakfast we left for Nainital.

Although we had seen countless pictures online before visiting, nothing compares to seeing Nainital with your own eyes.

The fresh air, the peaceful lake, the colourful Mall Road, and the surrounding hills create an atmosphere that photographs simply cannot capture.

We spent the day exploring the town at a relaxed pace.

We enjoyed boating on Naini Lake, walked along Mall Road, visited Snow View Point, explored Tiffin Top, tasted local food, bought souvenirs, and spent quality time together without looking at our phones every few minutes.

What we liked most was that there was no hurry.

Travelophila had planned the day in a way that allowed us to enjoy each place comfortably.

In the evening we returned to our villa in Bhimtal for one final night.

Day 4 – Back to Noida with Beautiful Memories

Every holiday eventually comes to an end.

After breakfast we packed our bags and started our journey back home.

During the drive, we weren’t talking about work or school.

We were discussing the funniest moments of the trip, looking through photographs, and already wondering when we would visit Uttarakhand again.

For our family, this wasn’t just another holiday.

It became a birthday celebration, a spiritual journey, and four days of togetherness that are difficult to find in today’s busy life.

Would We Recommend This Nainital Tour Package?

Ertiga Car

Absolutely.

If you’re looking for a 3 Nights 4 Days Nainital Tour Package with your family, we would recommend choosing a package that allows you to travel at a comfortable pace rather than trying to cover too many places in too little time.

The combination of Bhimtal, Nainital, Kainchi Dham, Mukteshwar, and Golu Devta Temple gave us the perfect mix of nature, spirituality, relaxation, and family time.

The private villa, local Uttarakhand driver, delicious food, birthday arrangements, and continuous support made the experience even better.

If you’re planning your own holiday, have a look at Travelophila’s Nainital Tour Packages to compare different itineraries and choose the one that suits your family.

And if you’re also planning a larger spiritual journey through Uttarakhand, we can genuinely recommend exploring their Char Dham Yatra Packages, as our family had a wonderful experience on that trip as well.

Thank you, Travelophila, for making our daughter’s birthday one of the happiest memories our family has ever shared.
