Yamunotri

Yamunotri is a sacred site located in the Uttarkashi district of Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India, It is popular due to the presence of Yamunotri temple which is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. It is situated at an height of 3,293 meters, it is among the Chota Char Dhams of Uttarakhand. There are many nearby destinations to visit like Surya Kund, Janki Chatti, Temple is not connected by road. It is acessible by 6km trek from Janki Chatti.
