Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival at Jorhat & Transfer to Majuli
Arrive at Jorhat Airport / Railway Station.
Drive towards Majuli Island, crossing the mighty Brahmaputra by ferry.
Evening free to walk around the village, meet locals, and feel the calm air of this unique island.
Overnight stay in a traditional bamboo cottage.
Day 2 – Exploring Majuli’s Culture & Monasteries
Visit famous Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries) like Kamalabari Satra & Auniati Satra.
Learn about mask-making at Samaguri Satra, an art form passed down for generations.
Experience traditional Mishing tribe culture – their houses on stilts, weaving, and warm hospitality.
Evening folk dance or prayer at the satra.
Overnight stay in Majuli.
Day 3 – Majuli to Sivasagar
Morning ferry back to Jorhat, then drive to Sivasagar (around 3 hrs).
Visit the Rang Ghar (Asia’s oldest amphitheatre) & Talatal Ghar (Ahom palace ruins).
Explore the Shiva Dol temple complex beside a vast water tank.
Evening walk in the historic lanes of Sivasagar.
Overnight stay in Sivasagar.
Day 4 – Sivasagar to Kaziranga National Park
After breakfast, drive towards Kaziranga (approx. 4–5 hrs).
On arrival, check into a beautiful jungle resort.
Evening free to enjoy tribal dance performance with local cuisine.

Day 5 – Jungle Safari in Kaziranga
Early morning elephant safari to spot the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and migratory birds.
Later, enjoy a jeep safari into another zone of the park.
Rest of the day free for leisure or visiting nearby tea gardens.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 6 – Departure
