Quick Summery
The morning sun over Haridwar, the smell of incense, and the call of the Himalayas — that’s how their journey began.
For Mr. Nagaraj and his group, the Do Dham with Tungnath yatra became a path where every prayer met peace and every mountain shared a blessing.
This yatra was all about devotion, friendship, and the calmness that only the Himalayas can offer.

A Yatra Filled with Faith and Friendship
Our team felt truly happy to plan this special journey for Mr. Nagaraj and his group of six. The trip started from Haridwar, with comfortable travel in a private Ertiga vehicle, driven by our humble and friendly local driver Mr. Ashutosh Goswami from Kumaon.
The group first stopped at the sacred Maa Dhari Devi Temple, where the flowing Alaknanda river and temple bells set a peaceful tone for the yatra. By evening, they reached Sersi and stayed at Hotel Adiyogi, where they got three clean and comfortable rooms. The view from the hotel, along with a simple dinner, made their first night peaceful and relaxing.

Kedarnath Darshan – The Heart of the Yatra
The next morning began early with excitement as they left for Kedarnath. The scenic drive to Gaurikund and the trek ahead filled the air with “Har Har Mahadev” chants.
At Kedarnath, they stayed in a new property near the temple, where two rooms were arranged for them.
As evening arrived, they attended the Kedarnath Aarti, surrounded by glowing lamps, echoing bells, and the calm chill of the Himalayas. It was a moment that needed no words — only folded hands and closed eyes.
The following morning, after darshan and visiting Bhairav Temple and Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, they returned to Sersi for a restful night, feeling lighter and peaceful from within.
From Sersi to Chopta – The Call of the Mountains
After their spiritual days, the group started early for Chopta, known as the Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand. The roads were lined with deodar forests and mountain turns.
At Chopta, they began their Tungnath trek, slowly climbing through pine trails and mountain silence.
Reaching Tungnath Temple, the world’s highest Shiva temple, felt like a blessing. A few members continued to Chandrashila Peak, where clouds touched their feet and the Himalayan peaks stood tall in front of them.
After this beautiful day, they drove to Pipalkoti for a night stay at KDC Retreat Hotel, where three rooms were arranged. The hotel was cozy, the food was homely, and everyone slept peacefully after a long adventurous day.

Badrinath & Mana – Where the Heart Meets Peace
The next morning, they started towards Badrinath Temple, one of the holiest shrines of Lord Vishnu.
After offering prayers at the temple, they explored Mana Village, the last village of India. They visited Vyas Gufa and Ganesh Gufa, walked around small local tea shops, and enjoyed the calm mountain life.
On their return, they stopped at Joshimath to visit Narsingh Devta Temple and Shankaracharya Math, before heading back to Pipalkoti for a warm dinner and good rest at KDC Retreat Hotel again.

Devprayag – The Final Blessing
The last day of the yatra was filled with peaceful silence. While returning towards Haridwar, they stopped at Devprayag Sangam, the holy meeting point of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, which together form the sacred Ganga.
Standing there, watching the two rivers merge, the group shared how this journey gave them inner peace and a feeling of closeness to nature and faith.
