The next morning, the trek began. Step by step, the scenery unfolded like a movie. The smell of pine forests, the crunch of snow under our shoes, and the chilly breeze brushing against our faces — it felt surreal.

At Guling campsite, the night sky left us speechless. We city people had forgotten what a true starry night looks like. Around the bonfire, sipping hot soup, we felt like kids again.

The toughest day was climbing towards Khullara and Kuari Pass summit. The air grew thinner, but so did the distance between us and our dream. When we finally reached the Kuari Pass top, I can’t describe that feeling in words.

Standing there, with Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Kamet, and Chaukhamba peaks staring back at us, we felt like we were on top of the world. Some of us laughed, some had tears in our eyes. That moment alone was worth every step.
