If client cancels the booking before 25 days of departure date 15% cancellation fee on the total tour cost will be deducted on refund.

If client cancels the booking between 7-25 days before the departure date 50% cancellation fee on the total tour cost will be deducted on refund.

If client cancels the booking between 0-7 days before the departure date 100% cancellation fee on the total tour cost will be deducted on refund.

If activities or tours are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like government policies or extreme weather conditions, no refunds will be issued, but alternate options may be provided.

Refund Policy: Refund will be payed between 15-25 days after the cancellation.

Helicopter tickets for Kedarnath Temple are very limited and often sell out quickly during Char Dham season. If you are unable to get helicopter tickets, there are several reliable alternative ways to reach Kedarnath comfortably.

The journey starts from Gaurikund, which is the main base point for Kedarnath Yatra. Please note that before starting your journey:
* Private vehicles stop before Sonprayag market.
* Pilgrims must first complete registration verification.
* After registration, shared local taxis are available from Sonprayag to Gaurikund.
* From the Gaurikund drop point, you may need to walk around 500 meters to reach the trekking starting point.

1. Trekking (Most Budget-Friendly Option)

The trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is approximately 16 km.
This is the most common and economical option for pilgrims who are physically fit and comfortable walking in mountain terrain.

2. Pony / Horse (Easy and Popular Option)

Pony service is one of the best alternatives for those who cannot trek.
* Easily available through government-authorized counters at Sonprayag and Gaurikund.
* Approximate fare: ₹5,500 for round trip (subject to seasonal changes).
* Travel time: Around 4 hours up to Ghoda Padav.
* From Ghoda Padav, pilgrims need to walk around 1.5 km to reach the temple.

This option is budget-friendly, easily available, and widely preferred by pilgrims.

3. Palki / Doli (Best for Elderly and Non-Walkers)

Palki or doli is ideal for senior citizens and pilgrims unable to sit on ponies.
* Carried by trained porters.
* Available from official counters in Gaurikund and Sonprayag.
* Approximate travel time: 4 to 5 hours.
* Approximate fare: Around ₹7,000 – ₹10,000 one side.
* Drops pilgrims near Kedarnath helipad area, only about 300 meters from the temple.

4. Kandi Service (Suitable for Children and Lightweight Pilgrims)

Kandi is a practical option for small children and low-weight passengers.
* One carrier carries the passenger on the back.
* Approximate fare: Around ₹5,000 one side.
* Easily available through authorized counters.

If helicopter tickets are unavailable, pony and palki are usually the most convenient alternatives. These services are generally available on the same day through government booking counters and do not require long advance booking like helicopter tickets.
